Shakesha Williams is a renowned filmmaker and the Founder and President at Harlem Fusion Studios. She is a celebrated screenwriter whose short film “My Story” won Best Screenplay. As creator and showrunner of her digital series “Curvy Girls Rock,” she continues to break barriers and amplify important voices. As an Ebony magazine recognized creative, Shakesha brings deep conversations to the airwaves with her award-winning podcast “Shakesha and the White Boy.” Shakesha is an artificial intelligence (AI) creator and educator teaching other creative entrepreneurs how to use AI tools in their art and business. She’s dedicated to empowering creators of color as a mentor with Women of Color Unite’s Start With 8 Hollywood, and as co-founder of the Exception Fest Conference and Film Festival. She is also a panelist and speaker across the country, all while embodying the unstoppable energy of NYC as a devoted wife, mother.
