Randy Greenstein and I attended the 15th World Music & Independent Film Festival in May 2024, hosted by June Daguiso. There were many fine works screened at the film festival; and at the Gala there was a fashion show, musical entertainment, and of course, awards and honors! This post highlights my recognition, and those of two colleagues I work with through my organization Support Our #creatives.
“Sock Puppets,” by animation producer Joy Lamont-Smith of Jajoy Art Studios, was screened at the film festival and won the award for BEST ANIMATION. I am an executive producer of “Sock Puppets.”
Reggaeton singer and songwriter EbNFLoW performed one of his numbers at the event. I am his music producer.
I received a MOST OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT award!! I was in good company as one of the recipients.
Randy and I were interviewed and I also got to present an award.
