Ivy Robinson was born in West Palm Beach, FL, and raised in Pompano Beach, FL. She is the daughter of the late Superintendent and Pastor Robert L. Robinson and Dr. Barbara Robinson. After finishing high school in her hometown, she followed her passion for fashion and graduated from a well-known modeling Institution; John Robert Powers Modeling School of Las Olas in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
From there, Ivy became a professional model. She has walked the runway for many top and household designers, including walking in New York Fashion Week, also in a Tyra Banks production in New York City. She also modeled in North Carolina Fashion Week, hosted by actress Vivica A. Fox from television. Ivy has been modeling for over 30 plus years and continues to love every moment of itIn addition to modeling, Ivy is also a pageant queen. She won Miss Florida in 1986 and Ms. North Carolina in 2022. Today, she also serves as a panelist judge for Miss USA, Teen USA, and Miss Universe, helping other young women shine.
Ivy is also a talented singer and international recording artist; producer; songwriter; and composer. In 2013, she released her first album called “Sha” Bac”. She writes and produces her own music and has written songs for famous artists, including the first and original legendary Temptations.
She has performed at many special events, including a tribute at the Arlington National Cemetery for the late Edward Moore “Ted” Kennedy, who served as a U.S. Senator for Massachusetts from 1962 until his death in 2009; a tribute for the late Elizabeth Edwards (she was a successful lawyer who became a national figure as her husband’s political partner and the author of books chronicling her cancer and grief); and a press conference tribute for the late legendary Michael Jackson in Washington, D.C. She’s also performed on the Spirit of Washington cruise and Carnival Cruise Line, and shared the stage with international, recording gospel artists, including Stellar Award winner Vickie Winans, Grammy Award winner The Clark Sisters, and three-time Stellar Award winner Isaiah D. Thomas.
Ivy Robinson continues to love her craft because it is her stamp signature of who she is.
